Pillars of Eternity Review | Gamegrin

GG: Every once in a while, a title bursts on to the gaming scene with such tumultuous individuality and swagger that it redefines its genre. Doom brought 3D geometry to first person shooters, The Elder Scrolls: Arena took scale to the next level, and The Sims made mundane living an adventure. Pillars of Eternity neither breaks molds nor challenges expectations, but I am somehow drawn to call it a classic. Playing it is a retread of so many familiar paths from Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale, but at the same time it has just enough identity of its own to differentiate itself.

The Elder Scrolls Online Anniversary Is Today: Or Is It?

Added: 05.04.2015 5:17 | 2 views | 0 comments

Skyrim Fansite writes: "April 4, 2015 marks The Elder Scrolls Online first anniversary. Or does it? When you consider the lengthy Beta testing that went on, and the fact that ESO had not one, but two different early access dates, the games beginnings get a little cloudy. Throw in the fact that ESO recently re-branded itself as The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, and that the console release date was pushed from sometime in June 2014 all the way to June 9, 2015, things get really messy. Perhaps the dates confusion is why ZeniMax Online Studios (ZOS) has been quiet heralding the games first anniversary? Im not really sure why theres been no official hoopla, but players were discussing the lack of official celebration on the forums here."

Skyrim Fansite writes: "New Crown Store pets are coming to The Elder Scrolls Online. Today, ZeniMax Online Studios announced that new vanity pets will be available for sale in The Elder Scrolls Online Crown Store on April 9, 2015. Two of the pets (the Bravil Retriever and the Daedric Scamp) were first revealed in a datamined spoiler a few weeks ago. ZOS has not announced how much the pets will cost, but based on current cash shop items, its safe to assume a price of 400 Crowns each (roughly $4.00 USD)."
